This top quality Gyokuro is only to be found in limited amounts and is one of the finest green teas in Japan. The tea leaves are handpicked and grow near the Hiki river in the district of Wakayama. Three weeks before harvesting the tea is covered by rush mats to avoid the rays of the sun. Gyokuro HIKI has long, needle shaped and jade green leaves and a unique, aromatic and slightly sweet and elegant flavour.
